Webinar: How to set up a Frequent Flying Levy in Europe

New research, published in October 2024 by Stay Grounded, New Economics Foundation, Ecologistas en Acción and further organisations, proposes to implement a Frequent Flying Levy in Europe. This would raise €64bn without any cost to the majority of people. Aviation emissions would drop by 21%, mainly caused by just 5% of people flying less.

The webinar will explain the reasons and design of this new and fair aviation measure, and discuss with you how to make it a credible policy option in the EU and at country-level.
