Aviation & Climate Justice Training

The #SaveMaldives Campaign and Stay Grounded are hosting this introductory Tipping Point training which explains why a halt on airport expansion and a global reduction of aviation are crucial for climate justice.

Humay Abdulghafoor is a contributor to the #SaveMaldives Campaign, which is a citizen-led environmental campaign to increase public awareness of irreversible ecosystem and biodiversity destruction due to unsustainable development practices in the country.

The training will cover many aspects of the struggle from climate impact and inequalities to global solidarity, workers’ rights, false solutions and alternatives. You’ll also learn how to counter the industry’s greenwashed lies with new narratives and find out what you can do to support campaigns against airport expansion in the UK.
