This has worked quite well in many ways in the past years. But there was also critique raised about the network becoming less democratic when it grew. Even though we take main strategic decisions at our yearly network meeting and in the regional meetings, as campaigners, we know that we have a strong influence on the direction and strategy of the network, both due to how much time we dedicate to the network and because we prepare and shape the discussions of the network meetings. In this section, we want to understand how represented and involved you feel when it comes to decision-making and shaping the network and where there is room for improvement.Did you or at least one member of your organisation:(Required) take part in at least one global network meeting? take part in at least one regional network meeting (Europe, Latin American and Carribean)? not take part in the global or regional meetings, but read the follow-up information about the meetings? read the Stay Grounded email lists regularily? actively participate in Stay Grounded related decisions? We feel it is too complicated to participate. We don’t know how to participate more. Other reason Please indicate other reasons hindering your participation:Which decisions would you like to be more involved in? This is a good idea. I don’t know. This is a bad idea. Please indicate why you think so:Do you have any general remarks on our network meetings and decision making process? What is good, what can be improved? If there was one thing you could change in how our network works – what would it be?SECTION 4 – Development of the NetworkWe currently have regional networks in Europe, Latin America and Caribean and South/-East(ern) Asia. Plus, we have regional groups in France, UK, Iberian Peninsula. How should the network further develop? Are you part of a regional network? Europe Latin America South/Eastern Asia No Are you part of a regional group? France UK Iberian Peninsula No How do you feel about the work of this regional network? How do you feel about the work of this regional group?Would you like to explore with us the possibility of creating a regional group/network in your area? Yes No How accessible are the events of the Stay Grounded network for you in regard of timing? They should be earlier. They should be later. The timing is in general ok for me. I do not participate in any events. How should the network further develop in your opinion? We should focus more on consolidating the existing active members. The network needs to become bigger and attract more members. The network needs to become more diverse in terms of types of organisations. We should decentralise more and put efforts in developing the regional networks. We should do more global campaigns or actions. Do you have any other ideas or wishes for the development of the network?Thank you so much for taking the time to fill in this survey! Your feedback helps us considerably to improve our work. We hope to see you soon. Stay Grounded! 🙂
